Today was a special day because we had a TV crew coming to our class. They interviewed me and my students and wanted to capture a bit of the atmosphere when we skyped with another class. For this lesson, we played #MysterySkype with Mr. Dean Whiteley's 4th grade class. This was the first time for my students to talk to someone in the UK and it took them a while to guess that the Longhill Primary class was located in Kingston Upon Hull in Yorkshire.
Today was a fun day for my 4th grade students - they played Mystery Skype game with Mr. Flory's class. My students were so excited when I asked them to play this game and even the fact that they had to stay after class for this opportunity was not a problem for them. Today my 4th grade students had a chance to play Mystery Hangout game with a class from Dubai, UAE. Their teacher, Mr. Osama Abujafar found me via Twitter and invited us to play. It wasn't very difficult to find the suitable time since Dubai is only 3 hours ahead of Nis. Although my students haven't had any previous experience in using the world map, they liked playing the guessing game with their peers. |
