Yesterday was a special day - not because it was Valentine's Day, but because the III/3 class made new friends - Mr.McKenzie's class from New Dundee, Ontario, Canada. Here is their teacher's blog.
It was also our first time using Google Hangouts in class since we have only been using Skype for practicing English with our peers.
We learnt that their school has 11 classes, that their school mascot is a dragon and that they like watching the Winter Olympics and playing hockey. The internet connection was bad so we couldn't see the snow outside, in their schoolyard but they told us it was below -20 degrees. Here in Serbia, we had almost spring temperature, very unusual for mid-February, it was +18 degrees.

Here is Iva reading a poem "Luba's crazy restaurant" to Mr.McKenzie's class.
