Yesterday my students and I participated in the 7th annual Science Fair called "Nauk nije bauk". We were hosting three Skype lectures and were happy to see many people interested in participating.
The first call was with park rangers from Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, Nebraska, USA, who talked to us about the mammal fossils from Miocene era.

After that, the next virtual visit was to SANCCOB in South Africa - we got to talk to Talya and to learn all about the endangered African penguins. We even got to meet Skipper, one of the penguins who unfortunately wasn't able to survive in the wild on his own and now lives in Sanccob.
Our third Skype call was with Ranger Brian from Yellowstone National Park, USA. We learnt a lot about the volcano, the hot springs and geysers as well as the animals that live there.
